For most of my career, I worked in financial services. I had a job that I was no longer excited about, and I was not taking care of myself. I was not exercising or paying attention to my diet. Until one day during open enrollment the results of a health assessment opened my eyes.
To reduce healthcare premiums, everyone at our company performed a health assessment. I found out that I was predisposed to diabetes and heart disease. It took me by surprise, and I was completely shocked. I knew I had to make some major changes.
This event led me to re-evaluate my life and I decided to change my career path. I started running and working out everyday. At first it was hard, but over time I got healthier and stronger and I really started to enjoy working out. Living a healthy lifestyle gave me more energy and made me happy.
At the same time, I read about the growing obesity problem in America. I learned about how more than 2/3 of adults in America are overweight, and more than 1/3 are obese. In addition, according to the CDC 80% of adult Americans do not meet the recommended weekly requirement of 2 1/2 hours of moderate physical activity.
I was determined to make a positive impact in peoples’ lives. I strongly believe that good health is a key part of living a happy life.
After extensive research about fitness and nutrition, I decided to become a certified personal trainer and fitness nutrition specialist.
Since 2015, I have been working with both men and women who have made a commitment to a lifestyle change.

We start with an initial conversation. We get to know each other and talk about goals, expectations, questions, fears, and more. That way you know exactly what to expect when working with me. Then, I help take an initial fitness evaluation to create a benchmark. We take body measurements, determine your range of motion, and assess your overall fitness level. I then craft a fitness program tailored to your needs.
